Housed in a quaint house and set in a lovely garden, this is a gem of a gallery with an intimate feel and a wide range of art by various top south african artists.

The house was built early in the 20th century and restored to this finery in 2006.

as the first gallery of it’s sort in Swellendam, Kunstehuijs seeks through it’s diverse collection of fine art as well as decorative arts, to increase aesthetic awareness of art
