Born in Port Elizabeth. While attending Collegiate Junior School went to afternoon art classes at Russell Road Technikon from the age of ten.

Went to Queenstown Girl’s High School and studied art until Matric. Enroled at P.E.Technikon Art School and studied fine art, sculpture, pottery

and textile design with Hilton Nel, Jenny Meyer, Neil Rodgers and Professor Podleshuk amongs others. Graduated after three years and enrolled at the

Whitehouse School of Interior Design in Rondebosch. Graduated and worked in the textile industry and then in the design department

of Vynide (a brabch of AECI) IN Somerset West with Mornet de Wet.

Married Peter Moir, moved to Swellendam and had Richard and Amber . During this time painted with Mel Brigg who lived on the farm next door,

and was greatly influenced by his work. Divorced in 1995 and married Nicholas Myburgh (LLB Stellenbosch) in 1997.

Moved to family farm in the Ruggens, Swellendam district and had two more children, Caitlin and Phillip.

  Started painting again and enjoys depicting scenes of the local countryside.
