Jeffery finds his passion in still life and landscape, he is eternally inspired by the theory of Cezanne ‘Harmony in parallel with nature”

His landscapes are mostly of Paarl rock mountain, its shapes dominate the Paarl Valley and shines like a pearl on rainy days.

This powerful shape lends itself to translation in his paintings.

He is also inspired by other artists like Rembrant, Manet, Monet and Cezanne.

His father is a talented musican and craftsman, it's from him that that he gets his love of working with his hands and creating.

His fascination with every day life objects transformed into semi abstration inspired with love developed throught time spent with

his mother while working in the kitchen at the Paarl Nederburg Winery, with its fine objects and dramatic views. Here he started to appreciate nature and art.
