Grady Zeeman studied fashion design at the Cape Technicon
before she move back to Swellendam and married a farmer. They
have two children. She is the owner of the Kunstehuis Art
Gallery.
"I am continuously striving to grow beyond my horizons, whether
emotional, spiritual or artistic.
Therefore as I paint from the
heart, it would
only be natural that symbolism and spiritualism find themselves
rooted in my work. I am
also very susceptible to my surroundings, hence the strong
emotional component in my work.The warm South African sun I am
exposed to, inspires bold and vibrant
colouring, each painting a delightful journey.
The female nudes I do, I see as an expression of my life and
sensuality.The curves of the female body, combined with the
colour symbolism in my
paintings, express my innermost feelings, and the exuberance of
