From a very young age, Estè showed a aptitude for the fine arts. this served as inspiration to formally study art.

She enrolled at the university of the Free State where her artistic abilities and skills, and her mode of expression were shaped by the likes

 of Casper Steenkamp, Ben Bothma and H.H.T. Treurlinkt, to name a few.

eestè sees her work as the romanticizing of the everyday realities surrounding her – she is a painter of what may  be described

 as romantic dreamworlds. often landscapes peopled with esoteric figures, all of them the result of an image bank of pictures

  she has created and stored over the years.
