Annetté Dannhauser was born in Delareyville (Western Transvaal) on the 24 of March 1962.

This fine artist completed her school career at Transvalia High School in the Vaal Triangle in 1979. She got married in 1987 and worked full time as a bookkeeper while raising a family of four beautiful daughters.  She decide to follow her heart and passion and   commenced her  full time studies towards a Diploma in fine arts at the Technicon of the Witwatersrand in 1995  while working flexi hours for an employer and being a full time Mom.

She obtained her diploma  in 1997 and her degree in Fine Art 1999.  During this period she was rewarded a Certificate of Merit for overall exceptional performance in Fine art in 1997.   In 2001 she received the Sasol New Signatures People Choice Award. Annetté is currently living in the countryside close to the picturesque Freestate town of Parys. She has been painting full-time since 2002. Her artwork are presented at various exhibitions and art galleries. She opened her gallery "The Whitehouse" in May 2008 in the town of Parys.
